Dr. Andrew Jattan

Dr. Andrew Jattan was born in Trinidad and Tobago and migrated to the United States in 2000. He discovered dentistry when he enlisted in the United States Air Force in 2005 as a dental assistant and was stationed at Holloman AFB, New Mexico.

He realized that dentistry was very rewarding and decided that he wanted to become a dentist. He left active duty and joined the Air Forces Reserves and was stationed at Patrick AFB, Florida. Utilizing his G.I. Bill, he pursued his undergraduate training at the University of Central Florida earning a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and Microbiology. He went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Medicine training at the University of Florida College of Dentistry and was awarded a health professional scholarship from the Air Force. He was commissioned into the Air Force as a captain after graduating Dental School in 2017 and completed a General Dentistry Residency at Travis AFB, California. He was then assigned to Altus AFB, Oklahoma where he served as a general dentist. He left active duty, after 12 years of military service, to complete a residency program in Endodontics at the University of Florida where he received his certificate in Endodontics and Master’s degree.

Dr. Jattan is Board Eligible and active member of the American Association of Endodontists, Florida Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and several local dental associations.

In his free time, Dr. Jattan enjoys spending time with his wife Greysi and his 3 children Katherine, Logan, and Luke and his dog Belle. His is a member of the American Association of Endodontics and is currently board eligible.
